Confidence is not the same as knowledge
Epistemology studies knowledge, justification and belief.
The idea
Feeling certain does not establish that a belief is true or well supported. Philosophers investigate what distinguishes knowledge from a lucky guess.
An example
Guessing tomorrow's weather correctly once does not show that your method was reliable.
Put it into practice
Separate the claim from your reasons for believing it.
