A stall is an airflow problem
An aerodynamic stall occurs when a wing exceeds its critical angle of attack.
The idea
Flow separation reduces lift capability. A stall is not the same as an engine stopping and is not defined by one universal speed.
An example
Different loading or manoeuvres can change the airspeed at which a wing reaches its critical angle.
Put it into practice
Separate engine condition, airspeed and angle of attack.

Test yourself: What defines an aerodynamic stall?
Exceeding the critical angle of attack
The critical angle of attack is central to the stall condition.
